Diana Mcclintic RN,CHN,DR.SC. Naturopathy, gives free hours of work at Bridgeport Healing Center to spread the good news of Holistic Healing to the community.

Diana Mcclintic RN, employee of St. Vincent's Woman's Hospital is a board certified Holistic RN who just started a new business in Holistic Nursing. In order to spread the word that knowledge is power, Diana offers free consultations for the public to get to know more about the busines. Diana is writing a Ph.D. dissertation now which will be a book and seeks people out who want to be in her dissertation.

July 20, 2004 -- Diana became an LPN in the early 70's and an RN in the early 80's. Her years of nursing brought her to realize the missing link was connecting the care of the spirit with the body and mind. She started Clayton College in 95 and obtained a BS and MS in Natural Health. Then by 2000 finished her DR. SC. in Naturopathy. Now she has completed her Ph.D. in Holistic Nutrition courses, and the title is pending her dissertation completion.

Diana's love of nursing has now come full circle with the knowledge of the mind, body, spirit, and holistic functions which require the body to heal from dis-ease. This is not disease as medical knows it. It is disharmony in the unbalanced whole person which creates an atmosphere for problems in health to occur. She has gone to part time Nursing now at St. Vincent's Woman's Hospital so that she can start her healing business and share her knowledge with the community. She offers energy balancing, acupressure, reflexology, relaxation techniques, crystal tuning, and counseling in all aspects of naturopathy.

Bridgeport Healing Center has a life force of its own now. Free consults and therapies are offered by Diana as a get to know what Holistic therapies are all about. Knowledge is power and is so important in this day and age of many new health issues. The newest equipment there is the Infratonic 8, an FDA listed physical therapy machine which relieves pain and helps the body to heal. Scar tissue softens at first try. Many people with tendonitis love it. Animals love the therapy also.

Her first client to use the Infratonic 8 is Truman the dog, who is recovering from mast cell cancer surgery. Diana is working with DR Arthur Young DVM, Homeopathic Vet.in helping Truman heal. Even through setbacks he has returned to his happy loving whole self and fighting the cancer well through homeopathy, correct nutrition, the hours of use of infratonic 8, and the surgery that his lifelong DR of Veterinary Medicine at Rockville Animal Hospital performed. His owner John Voelker, from Bridgeport is pleased and thankful for all holistic nursing therapies that Truman is receiving. Truman is a well known and loved dog in the town of Bridgeport.

Horses also love the therapy, so Diana bought the horses head transducer for the machine from Bill Chickwack, who sells holistic equipment and is a massage therapist himself.

In finishing her Ph.D. dissertation Diana would love to have stories from people emailed to her at e-mail protected from spam bots, about how they have healed themselves using complimentary therapies. She will choose one more person with good data over a 2-4 year period to write about. She has 35 pages to go to complete this 5 chapter dissertation. This dissertation will become a book. The business and the book will make Diana a place on the map in her hometown of Indianapolis.

Diana chose to make her healing home in Bridgeport because the small town in far west Indianapolis has lost houses and land and many trees to the new construction in preparation for the airport to entrance there in the future, and as a spot for many new homes. The town has lost much of its country atmosphere. The people who grew up there are proud of this little spot on the map and would like to keep it important.

Bridgeport Healing Center is located on Porter Street and West Washington area which is not to far from the diner where the townspeople still gather. Diana welcomes callers to come and experience a free session and learn how they may help themselves. The Hunt family, who own this older farm home which is now C4 rated, love knowing that there is still time for people to enjoy the garden and heal at the old homestead before the rush of redevelopment occurs in the area.
