HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAIR IN FRAMINGHAM ON 12/7 BENEFITS MSPCA

December 7 fair provides holistic health education for consumers and benefits Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. At the Sheraton in Framingham from 10 am to 4 pm massage therapists, nutrition counselors, energy healers, and more will present hands-on demonstrations, provide free treatments, distribute free samples, and sell holistic and natural health products. Psychics and mediums will offer readings.

Anxious about acupuncture? Puzzled by polarity? Curious about crystal healing? Mystified by meditation? Want to help the MSPCAs abandoned animals?

Holistic alternatives to traditional medicine, both products and services including: massage, nutrition, energy balancing, organics, Reiki, acupuncture, Native American spirituality, hypnosis, and will be showcased at the Health and Wellness Faire at the Sheraton Framingham 1657 Worcester Rd on Sunday December 7 from 10 am to 4 pm. The MSPCA will be featured at the event.

According to My Holistic Network co-founder Dianne McDermott, visitors have a chance to meet more than 40 area practitioners in a festive, one-stop-shopping, taste of the town atmosphere. Throughout the day, massage therapists, nutrition counselors, energy healers, and more will present hands-on demonstrations, distribute free samples, and sell holistic and natural health products. Psychics and mediums will offer readings. The Frankie Boyer show, a nationally syndicated health/wellness talk show will broadcast live from the fair from 10 am to 12 pm.

In the spirit of community service donations from attendees and exhibitors will be collected to benefit the MSPCA. My Holistic Network will also donate 10% of the admissions proceeds to the MSPCA. The regular $8 admission is only $5 with any donation to the MSPCA.

The MSPCA at Nevins Farm is delighted to be working with My Holistic Network to bring awareness of our Capital Campaign to a large group of people. Partnerships like these are the foundation of the work we do in supporting lasting relationships between people and animals. The support of a caring community like My Holistic Network makes this work possible, said Calli Towne, Community Relations Manager for the MSPCA at Nevins Farm.

Holistic and alternative health options from reflexology to Reiki as well as natural products, such as soaps, candles, and nutritional supplements are becoming more widely demanded and used. This trend, which includes mind, body, and spirit products, as well as services for humans and our animal companions, is especially evident in the baby boom generation, as well as in the 25-35 age group as they become more aware of their mind, body and spirit needs. In addition, we are cognizant of our responsibility to the communities where we hold fairs, said co-founder Dianne McDermott. This Faire will feature the MSPCA at Nevins Farm. We are asking both attendees and exhibitors to check our web site and bring some of the items from the wish list for the shelter. In addition, we are donating 10% of the proceeds of our admissions to the MSPCA Nevins Capital building campaign.
